Over 14 years ago, I purchased my first car from Michael Lyng Motors in Kilkenny. It was to the first of many cars, and thereafter I had no qualms about travelling to Kilkenny on an annual basis, to replace my car with a new one. As I knew I would get very good deal from people who would stand over what they sold me, should any snags develop. I was always fairly treated both from the Sales point and the follow up service areas and never had any issues with that particular garage.

However, when Michael Lyng Motors opened a branch in Carlow, not far from my home, I had some misgivings as to where I should take my business. Initially I thought no garage could match the standards of the Kilkenny garage. However, I tried the Carlow branch and immediately felt at home as I got a very warm welcome from Neil Lyng and David Franks. The manner they treated me in purchasing from them was brilliant. When I traded my first car in Carlow to them, I left the garage feeling I had been very fairly treated and had done a great deal with them. This feeling has been repeated in all subsequent deals since.

So much so that over the last number of years, I have continued to deal with them in Carlow and nothing has caused me to vary my opinion of the dealership in Carlow. In fact I have a very good relationship with all the staff members that I come in contact with from Aine in the Reception Desk, to the guys in the Service department, but particularly from David and Neil. I find them to be just brilliant in their dealings with me. No way would I consider switching from this dealership as the models they sell and maintain are so reliable and dependable, allied to the brilliant after sales effort they make to ensure trouble free motoring for me.
