Michael Lyng Motors was delighted to welcome members of the Kilkenny County Board to our Ford showroom this week for the official handover of a Ford Transit Courier, which will now serve as the Kilkenny Under 20s dedicated kit van for the season ahead.
We were honoured to have newly appointed Kilkenny Under-20 manager Henry Shefflin join us for the occasion, alongside representatives from the County Board, as we marked another chapter in our long-standing partnership with Kilkenny GAA. Supporting local sport has always been at the heart of our business, and we are proud to continue playing our part as the teams prepare for an exciting year.
Later that evening, our Ford and Hyundai showroom played host to a special photoshoot with our Kilkenny hurling brand ambassadors. Huw Lawlor and Adrian Mullen were joined by our newest ambassador, Mossy Keoghan, who steps in as Huw prepares to emigrate to Australia for the coming year.
It was a memorable moment for the team as both Mossy and Huw brought along their recently awarded GAA All-Star trophies — a fantastic achievement that reflects their outstanding performances throughout last season. We are privileged to work with such exceptional athletes who represent both their county and our brand with pride.
We would also like to extend our very best wishes to Huw on his travels and the year ahead — he has been a superb ambassador for Michael Lyng Motors and a brilliant representative for Kilkenny both on and off the pitch.
Michael Lyng Motors has always believed in supporting our community — whether through our sponsorships, our work with local clubs, or our ongoing commitment to Kilkenny GAA & Camogie. We are once again proud to stand behind the black and amber, and we look forward to supporting the teams, their management, and their volunteers for the year ahead.
From all of us at Michael Lyng Motors, we wish Kilkenny GAA every success in the 2026 season to come.
