About the Role

Michael Lyng Motors is seeking a highly motivated, fully qualified Ford motor technician to join our professional aftersales team. The successful candidate will work with modern diagnostic systems, carry out high-quality repairs and servicing, and deliver excellent customer satisfaction in line with Ford manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Ford vehicles to manufacturer standards 
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic equipment 
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements 
• Perform warranty repairs accurately and efficiently 
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and within allocated times 
• Maintain detailed and accurate job records 
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and workshop team members 
• Keep up to date with Ford technical training and new vehicle technologies 

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Ford Motor Technician
• Ford certification highly desirable 
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability 
• Full clean driving licence 
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Good communication and customer service skills

The Role

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Sales Executive to join our team. This is a performance-focused role for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives on targets, and takes pride in delivering a great customer experience from first contact to handover.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Engaging with customers in the showroom, online, and by phone 
• Understanding customer needs and matching them with the right vehicle 
• Selling new and used Hyundai vehicles along with finance and protection products 
• Managing the full sales journey from enquiry to delivery 
• Proactively following up leads and generating new opportunities 
• Building long-term customer relationships and repeat business 
• Working closely with the wider team to achieve sales targets
